Becky & Anthony Ocean Beach Fire Island Engagement Photowalk!

Becky and Anthony are getting married this Saturday and we couldn’t be more excited for this adorable couple!  Their engagement photowalk was such a blast as it happened on one of our and their favorite places on Earth- Fire Island!

Like most grooms-to-be the idea of taking pictures is not as fun sounding as say, heading out to surf… but Anthony was such a great sport about it!  Wouldn’t you all agree that he is a natural for the camera!?We had to stop by and check out the jetty next to where their wedding will happen!!  Such a beautiful spot!  We know it will make for an incredible wedding location as this is the exact same spot Greg and I got married 4 years ago this very weekend!

As we headed into town, the light was fading but in the distance I noticed how the tress were making this unique shape. I showed Anthony and Becky what I had in mind in the back of my camera and these two ran to make it happen!  I love working with couples that are also creative and willing to collaborate to make images!Finally we reached the bay where locals go to watch the sunset.  At this point our luck with Mother Nature was starting to run out and the rain was coming down. But the sunset was so pretty and these two were willing, so why not?  They got in position and watched the sunset as instructed (“go watch the sunset as if I’m not here” umm, harder to do than you think when its raining!!). After a few good wipes of my lens we got the photograph- thanks Becky and Anthony for being such incredible subject matter!!!  We are so excited for your wedding this weekend!
