Birth Photography- back to the magic!

A Mom kisses her newborn baby boy after birthing him at home

When your a business owner but also a Mama, often you have to make sacrifices over the work you can accept. 5 years ago I photographed my first birth and every cell in my body felt so alive and left me floating in the clouds for weeks! Photographing births ignited my passion in ways I had not felt before. Just imagine it, I get to witness a baby coming into this world! It’s magical! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But it’s also tricky when you have your own young child. With Jax being little it was just too complicated and about 1.5 years ago I had to make the decision not to photograph births anymore. It was a tough decision that left me feeling really sad. I’m sure I had many internal meltdowns. BUT this post is a happy post as I can finally announce that I’m ready and my family is ready for me to photograph births again! Jaxson is in a great school system with after-school programs, my husband has an amazing job with a family first company and we now are part of a wonderful community that is always happy to support each other! (Cheers to community!!!!!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So with great gratitude, I am happily announcing that I am now accepting jobs documenting the incredible journey of welcoming a baby into this world! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you know of anyone interested in having those very first kisses photographed please send them my way!
