Happy New Year!
I have been thinking long and hard and I’m just going to put it out there, 2018 was the best year of my life! Yep THE BEST YEAR OF MY LIFE!
Not the year I traveled to Africa, not the year I got married, not the year I had a baby but 2018. Don’t get me wrong, all those years were exciting and certainly memorable but 2018 was just about perfect in my book.
2018 was our first year in our new hometown El Dorado Hills CA and we just LOVE it here! 2018 was our first full year in our new home and we adore it and cherish it every single day! 2018 was Jaxson’s first full year at Silva Valley Elementary school and we couldn’t be happier with how he is thriving there! 2018 is our first full year with our sweet pup Makena and words can not accurately describe how much happiness she brings us all! 2018 is the year that our little street took the time and effort to have block parties and events and the community growing here is just what I have always dreamed of! 2018 is the year my husband got a job that he loves and is proud of! 2018 is the year I started my business here in El Dorado Hills and have been hired by amazing clients that I just adore! 2018 is the year that we all celebrated another year of great health. 2018 is a year that I found so much peace inside myself. 2018 is a year that I will always cherish with great fondness.

Here is my business top 9 for 2018. It made me blush a little when it popped up in the top 9 app, as I was not expecting to see ME three times!! Thank you to everyone that supports my passion and growing business and double taps when they see my face as Im always a little self-conscious to put up pictures of myself.

Now don’t get me wrong, 2018 had some hard times too. But as I’m getting older I am learning that mistakes are lessons, letting go is the greatest gift you can give yourself and giving grace to yourself and all those around you is a wonderful way to live.
2018 I thank you and 2019 I welcome you. I cannot wait to celebrate life every day, work incredibly hard and see what this year will be like for my personal life, my family and my photography business!
