Stillwater Cove California- a little bit of paradise for Thanksgiving vacation!

 

Sigh, not only is it Monday but its also the Monday after one of the best vacations for my family to date! Which means…Monday blues + post-vacation blues!!!

This Thanksgiving vacation we rented an RV (Thank you Outdoorsy!), left El Dorado Hills and hit the road and headed to the gorgeous Pacific coast, up HW 1 to a lovely little spot called Stillwater Cove.  If you’re looking for a place to vacation where the redwood forest meets the ocean- this is it!!!

It wasn’t the views that made our trip though but the company!  We had our very first vacation with another family!! And it was AMAZING!!!  The kids were happy, the adults were happy and I didn’t hear “I’m bored” out of my child the whole trip! Finding a family to vacation with is a dream come true for me!

I may have the blues today but the great news is, being a wedding, family and newborn photographer is pretty much amazing so at least I’m at a desk doing work that inspires me!
